Easter Egg Raffle

Each year the club purchases a number of large Easter Eggs which we place in the premises of co-operative publicans or retailers.   The proprietor/licensee then sells raffle tickets, runs the draw and donates 50% of the profits to the Charity of his/her choice with the balance coming back to Lions although many decide to make our club the beneficiary.

The total collected as a result of this years raffle was over £1400, a truly magnificent sum which has made a significant difference to so many people.   To all our participants whether selling tickets or buying them, we would like to say a big thank you on bahalf of all the charities who have benefitted from the draw.
